Starting the Blog

Today, I started thinking that I need to chronicle what's going on in my life right now, as well as some of the memories of recent years that have had no voice.  Currently, as most of you know, Adam is deployed to Iraq.  He has been there for six months, and will be home in about nine months.  It has been very long.  And there are days when I think I will lose my mind, that I will go "bananas."  Then I pick myself up, and move forward and the next time my bunch of bananas (Jens-11, Sam-9, Peter-7, Tommy-3, and Sarah-19 months)  start to show signs of rot, I try to have the presence of mind to make banana pancakes.  The results are usually delicious!

Hey Aunt Lizzie,
I love your little bunch of bananas. They are some of the cutest ones I have ever seen! I really admire you for leading that bunch around while your hubby is gone. You are very brave. I couldn't do it without a lot of help (mostly psychiatric probably). I'm really glad you started this so I can read more about what you guys are up to. Way to go brave with the red hair! It's fun to do something drastic like that sometimes isn't it. I find it releases stress for me and gives me a boost. Anyway, I love ya! You are in my thoughts and prayers very often.

Love,
Chelsi

I am so glad that you started a blog. Be very careful because it can be addicting! You have a beautiful family and I will love checking in and seeing what's happening even though you just live around the corner!

Love ya!

you need to add a stat counter to your blog so you can see how many people are logging on and where they are when the log on. It is in the "add on" section of the website.

I have someone from Australia looking at mine!
